There is a good news for all the employees who are working under the management of Punjab Government. The Finance Department of Punjab has issued the long-waited final notification on 8th August 2023 regarding grant of adhoc relief allowance-2023 @ 35% of basic pay as on 30-6-2023 to the civil servants of Punjab Government in BS-1 to BS-16 @ 35% of the basic pay as on 30-6-2023 to the civil servants in BS-17 to BS-22.
The notification is issued by the Additional Finance Secretary (Reg) Khalid Mehmood to all the Administrative Secretaries Punjab Government, South Punjab, Secretary to Governor, Secretary to Chief Minister, Military Secretary, Secretary to Assembly, PPSC, Attached Departments. Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, District & Session Judges, Chief Pilot, Registrar Lahore High Court, Provincial Director Local Fund Audit and Chief Inspector of Treasuries & Accounts.
Punjab Government 35% Adhoc Relief 2023 Salary Increase Notification
In continuation of this Department’s earlier Notification of even number dated 18.07.2023, the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to revise the rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2023 to all the Civil Servants of the Punjab Government and contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment as below, with effect from 01.08.2023:
- BPS-1 to 16 @ 35% of Basic Pay as on 30.06.2023
- BPS-17 to 22 @30% of Basic Pay as on 30.06.2023
The term “Basic Pay” for the purpose of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2023 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increment(s). The other conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in above referred
