Punjab Police has issued the new SOPs 2020 for the transfer of employees working in Police department. In case of inquiry or showcase against employees will not be able for transfer.
NOC is mandatory from the district Police officer (DPO) or RPO for the post of constable to Inspector employees within the region, region towards any unit or for the deputation in other department.
All transfer will occur under HRMS portal online.Ten years service is mandatory for permanent transfer from existing district towards other district.Any officer of Sub Inspector Rank served three years in Special Branch, CTD or Traffic will not send to PC after promotion on inspector post.
Deputation in other department will take place from three years to five years. Transfer and promotion of Junior Rank of Traffic Police will be conducted under new rules.
