Recitation of Darood Shareef During Morning Assembly in Schools

The Punjab Government, School Education Department has issued the official notification on 6th December 2021 in connection with Recitation of Darood Shareef during morning assembly in schools.

Recitation of Surah from Quran, Darood Shareef & Prayer in Morning Assembly

Kindly find attached herewith copy of Principal Secretary to Chief Minister’s directive bearing No. AS(Estab)/CMO/21/0T-47/0050029 dated 24-11-2021, received through T&C Wing, S&GAD’s vide letter No. SO(FG-1)3-123/2021 dated 25-11-2021, on the subject, whereby it has been directed to observe the following instructions during morning assembly before National Anthem in all schools:

1. Recitation of any Surah from Quran-e-Hakeem
2. Recitation of Darood Shareef (Darood-e-Ibrahimi)
3. Prayer for progress and prosperity of Pakistan

You are therefore, requested to pass on necessary directions to lower formation / heads of all schools (public/private) to ensure compliance of above-mentioned instructions, in true letter & spirit, as directed by the Authority.
