Punjab University has issued the official notification on 15th September 2021 in connection of reopening of university. All the educational institutes will be opened for 50% attendance – 3 days a week from 16th September 2021.
Notification of Reopening of Punjab University 2021
In pursuance of the instructions of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Govt. of Pakistan dated 14.09.2021 and Notification vide No. SO(ADMN)MISC./2020, dated 15-09-2021, issued by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab, all types of educational institutes countrywide will follow staggered opening (50% attendance, 3 x days a week) from 16 September, 2021, onwards.

Keeping in view the directions of NCOC, University of the Punjab shall reopen from September, 16, 2021, with 50% attendance, 3 x days a week. All the concerned HOD’s shall ensure the observance and compliance of Covid-19 SOPs in letter and spirit, and ensure 100% vaccination of all Teaching/Non-Teaching staff and students.

The Chairman, Hall Council shall ensure 100% vaccination of all the residents of hostels and direct the students to submit their vaccination certificates issued by the NADRA in the offices of their relevant hostels. Non vaccinated students shall not be allowed to stay in the hostel, from September, 30, 2021.
