Office of the District Education Officer (M-EE) Lahore has issued the official Memorandum to all the Heads of Institution (Male) District Lahore on 25th November, 2019 in connection with request for action disgraceful Islamic literature & Quranic manuscript.
Refer to letter No. 10138/G-1, Dated: 05-11-2019 along with enclosure received from Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority, Lahore.
You are directed to fulfill the following instruction forwarded by the Worthy Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority, Lahore as following:-
1. Islamic Literature must be kept on secure and appropriate place.
2. It must not be considered as an ordinary page/content.
3. It must not be thrown with the garbage.
4. Boxes should be fixed at every class in the school to keep such Holy content.
5. AEO’s must ensure the presence of boxes and their proper use during visit.
6. Awareness Literature should be delivered to the students regarding respect of Islamic literature in morning Assembly.
7. In case of collection of sacred manuscript/pages it must be handed over to the Auqaf Department. It must not be burnt or flush out in drainages.
8. Head Teachers will ensure through combing operation around the premises of school that there is no such Holy content is in garbage heaps.
You are also directed to ensure 100%Compliance in the true application and spirit. This must be treated as Most Urgent assignment.
