The Government of Punjab, Finance Department has issued the latest notification in connection with Rescue-1122 Risk Allowance 2023. Risk Allowance For Rescue 1122 @ Initial Basic Pay 2023
No.FD.PR.6-6/2006(Pt-II): In pursuance of the approval of the Standing Committee of the Cabinet on Finance & Development, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to grant of Rescue Risk Allowance equal to one initial basic pay per month w.e.f. 09.09.2022 to all Rescue Staff of Punjab Emergency Service Department.
In-Eligibility For Risk Allowance
The said allowance will not be admissible to the following officers/ officials:-

Suspended Employees:
All the Officers/Officials who are under suspension.

Rescue Employees Under Charge of inefficiency/misconduct:
Officers/Officials who have been made OSDs or who have been directed to report to the Punjab Emergency Service Department on the charges of inefficiency/misconduct or indiscipline.
- Rescue Staff on Extra/Ordinary/Study/Abroad Leave:
When Officer/Official is on leave for 90 days & above, extra ordinary leave, study leave or training abroad.
- Employees Not Working Under Rescue 1122:
Those who are not working in Punjab Emergency Service Department.
- Risk Allowance Not For Pensioners:
The referred allowance will not be counted towards pension and commutation/gratuity.
