The government of Punjab, Directorate of Special Education has issued the official notification on 9th June 2021 in connection with School Timings of Special Education in Punjab. The new timing schedule of schools is up to 11:30 am (4 Hours) because of heatwave started at the start of June. The further details are given below;

The following school timings of Special Educational Institutions in Punjab except for hilly areas (Muree & Kahuta) shall be observed as under w.e.f. 10.06.2021.

The following hilly areas (Muree & Kahuta) Schools / Centre / Institutions timings shall be observed as under:

Four days working week will be observed in all Public & Private Special Educational Institutions / Schools / Centres in Punjab, keeping in view the SOPs already circulated.
