Show Cause Notice Against PST Teacher due to Viral Video on Social Media

District Education Officer (M) Elementary Education Jhang (DDO) has issued the official Notification letter on 16th November, 2019 in connection with show cause notice against PST teacher due to viral video on social media.

Show Cause Notice under section 7(b) read with section 5(1)(a) of the Punjab Employees Efficiency Discipline and Accountability Act 2006.

Whereas, the undersigned as competent authority/DDO, under the Punjab Employees Efficiency Discipline and accountability act 2006, you have committed the following allegations and there are also sufficient grounds to proceed against you.

As reported by the Assistant Education Officer (M) Markaz Shorkot Cantt received through Dy. District Education Officer (M) Tehsil Shorkot vide office No. 1562 dated 31-11-2019 and following deficiencies were highlighted.

  1. Misconduct
  2. Inefficiency
  3. Viral Video on Social Media

Whereas, the undersigned is of the opinion that it is not necessary to hold an enquiry into the matter in view of the provisions contained in section 5(1)(a) of the act ibid. It is therefore proposed to proceed against you under Section 7(b) of Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act 2006.

Now, Therefore, you are hereby called upon to show cause in writing within seven days of the receipt of this notice as to why one or more penalties should not be imposed upon you.

You are further requested to submit your reply in person if any within prescribed period.
