In Kennewick, Washington, a small fire broke out at the Toyota Center, leading to an evacuation of the employees.
Kennewick Fire Chief Chad Michael shared that this incident occurred on September 22 at around 4:00 p.m.
According to Michael, the fire was limited to one HVAC unit. Thankfully, the overhead sprinklers quickly kicked in and put out the flames.
Thanks to the sprinkler system, the fire didn’t spread and cause more harm.
Firefighters arrived promptly and completely extinguished the fire.
The fire alarms went off, and as a precaution, all employees evacuated the building.
At the moment, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown.
The good news is that there were no reported injuries, and the business resumed its operations shortly after the fire was put out.
