Government of Punjab, School Education Department has issued the Official Notification letter in connection with award of Star Teacher and Cash Award 2019.
Competent Authority has been pleased to constitute the following committee for selection of high achievers 04 Head teachers and 08 teachers among the top performing schools on the basis of PEC and BISE results, 2017 from each district to award of “Star Teacher and Cash Award” on the eve of international Teachers Day on October 5, 2017:
i). Deputy Commissioner concerned (Chairman)
ii). Chief Executive Officer (DEA), concerned (Member)
iii). District Monitoring Officer, concerned (Member)

The committee will select top high achievers 04 Head teachers
- 01 male & 01 female head teacher of High & Higher Secondary Schools
- 01 male & 01 female Head teachers of Elementary Schools
The committee will select top high achievers 08 teachers
- 02 male & 02 female primary teachers
- 01 male & 01 female secondary teachers
After observing prescribed criteria (copy attached). List of top performing schools is attached.
