The PMIU-PESRP Punjab has issued the latest notification on 9th February 2023 in connection with collection of student profiles of Grade-1 to Grade-5 in all public schools. The main objective of this initiative is to implement the Taleem Programme objectives.
Collection of Students Profiles of Grade 1 To 5
The collection of profiles of students of grades I- V in all public schools across Punjab. PMIU is the implementing body of TALEEM programme wherein its Component 2.1 ‘Inclusive Education Initiative of SED’ focuses on children with mild cognitive and physical disabilities through inclusive learning environments and the provision of assistive devices.
As outlined in TALEEM’s objectives, health screening of all students of Grades (I-V) in the Public Schools in districts Jhelum and Multan, under the administrative control of the School Education Department, has to be carried out for identification of students with mild disabilities, and to be provided with assistive devices.
A consultative online meeting on the subject matter is scheduled to be held on 10th February 2023, at 11:00 AM, under the chairmanship of the Programme Director, PMIU-PESRP. Zoom details for the meeting are as under:
