Federal Minister Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has finalized the the strategy [Formula] of Pakistan Government and announced through media press conference on 14th May, 2020 regarding students promotion policy 2020.
I know every student is waiting for the decision because of his/her future depends. So thatswhy, i am going to summarize all the key points which are entirely important to read all the students for understand the formulae of promotion.
Summary of Promotion Policy
Every student must read all the guidelines which are favorable or not;
- All those students who are studying in Class-9th and Class-11th, no exam will be conducted from them and the calculation formulae depends on the student’s Class-10th and Class-12th examination marks.
- All those students who are studying in Class-10th and Class-12th will be promoted, if he/she has passed his/her Class-9th or Class-11th exams successfully without any failing of subject. The promotion will be entirely depends on your previous year marks and more added 3% marks to each students according to the percentage formulae of previous year.
- All those students who are failed in 40% subjects of Class-9th and Class-11th then only passing marks [Marks=40] will given to them without grading.
- All those students who don’t fulfill the above given percentage criteria are given below;
Category-1). Student don’t accept previous years marks and willing to appear in exams
Category-2). Students who want to appear in composite exams and there is no exams marks are available to fulfill of above criteria
Category-3). Students who want to appear in the examination of few subjects.
Category-4). All those students who are failed more than 40% subjects
- The special exams will be conducted for the above 4 categories between the time period of September to November 2020 if the lockdown opened and corona conditions are stabled.
- The transcript of Class-12th result will be only total marks and no subjects marks will be given on result cards/degree. The best prediction of students examination remarks will be written on your result card.
- All those students who want to appear in Special Exams 2020 then you must indicate you concerned examination Boards before 1st July, 2020.

The above percentage formula is finalized on students promotion policy 2020 and there will be only one statement of Special exams are still not confirmed because the current conditions of Corona Cases in Punjab, Sindh are worse then before so it may be go long for the decision.
