Government of Pakistan Ministry of Commerce & Textile Commerce Division (Trade Policy Wing) has issued the Notification on 9th August, 2019 in the matter of suspension of trade with India.
The Federal Government has been pleased to suspend bilateral trade with India with immediate effect and until further orders. The Statutory Regulatory Orders amending the Import Policy Order, 2016, and Export Policy Order, 2016, are enclosed herewith for implementation.
ORDER
S.R.O. 927 (1)/2019. – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that following further amendments shall be made in the Import Policy Order, 2016, namely:
In the said Order, in paragraph 5,
(a). in sub-paragraph (A), in clause (ii), the following shall be substituted, namely: –
“ (ii) goods of Indian or Israeli origin or imported from India or Israel:”
(b) in sub-paragraph (B), clause (iii) shall be omitted.
