Sufi Muhammad Ramzan Inqlabi, Central President All Teachers Alliance, And Punjab Teachers Union (Inqlabi Group) has issued the letter to Secretary Education (Schools) Punjab, Civil Secretariat, Lahore in connection with grant of two advance increments to PST teachers who were missed from any relief being already in BS-14.
Two Advance Increments to PST Teachers
Most respectfully submitted that a meeting was held on 16-01-2020 in Civil Secretariat Lahore in which it was accepted that PST teachers who are already in receipt of BS-14 are entitled to two advance increments.
That Govt. of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore vide letter dated 01-01-2018 has informed:
“that all the incumbents of the post of PSTs/ESEs (all categories), ESTs/SESEs(all categories) will be upgraded from BS-09 to BS-14 and BS-14 to BS-15 respectively. All the incumbents of the posts of SSTs/SSEs (all categories) will be granted two advance increments w.e.f 01-01-2018. All the incumbents of the posts of ESTs who are working in BS-15 (Personal) will be upgraded from BS-15 to BS-16 (Personal) and those working in BS-16 (Personal) are entitled to the grant of two advance increments w.e.f. 01-01-2018”.
Thus PSTs already in BS-14 remained missing in the similar circumstances and as such cannot be meted our discrimination which fact was pointed out during the meeting and was agreed principally by all the participants. (Copes of the orders are attached for ready reference).
In view of above submission, it is requested that PSTs already in BS-14 may be granted two advance increments w.e.f. 01-01-2018 to avoid their heart burning.
