Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit – PESRP, Government of the Punjab has issued the official Notification letter on 17 September 2019 in connection of updation of Girl Students Record at SIS under Girls stipend Programme.
The Revamped Girls Stipend Programme was launched in the last quarter of the Year 2016 in 16 low literacy districts of Punjab namely Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chiniot, D.Gkhan, Jhang, Kasur, Khanewal, Layyah, Lodhran, Muzzafargarh, Okara, Pakpattan Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Vehari in order to ensure the participation and retention of the girl students in the elementary and secondary grades enrolled in public schools. Under Girls Stipend Programme, girls enrolled in public schools from Grade 6-10 are awarded with stipend amounting to Rs. 3000/- for a quarter or Rs. 1000/- for a month on the basis of 80% attendance in quarter and progression to the next grade. The stipend is distributed through “Khidmat Cards” after registration of girls’ parents/guardians in their districts.
As per directions of the Secretary School Education, new enrollment record for each newly enrolled girl student from grade 6-10 is to be collected from SIS Application from now onward. Only those newly enrolled girl students from grade 6-10 will be .entitled for payment of stipend under Girls Stipend Programme whose enrollment record has been entered by the concerned school in SIS successfully. If the enrollment record of a student is not available at SIS, she is not entitled for any payments under Girls Stipend Programme.
Moreover, for the existing and new beneficiaries of the Girls Stipend Programme whose enrollment record is either available at SIS or is to be entered at SIS following fields has been made mandatory. Tabs created and the information required for each field is given below.

Entry in all of these fields has been enabled by PITB. CEOs and DMOs are requested to ensure that all of the above mentioned fields have duly filled in by the concerned school. The last date for the making the entries is Sep 23rd, 2019, after which the system will be locked.
