Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued the official Notification letter in connection with utility allowance proposals summary Punjab govt.
As desired by the Minister for Finance, the proposal for enhancement of Utility Allowance has been rationalized as detailed below. Finance Department is of the view that, given the financial crunch, the enhancement of Utility Allowance may be brought into effect from 1st January, 2020. Furthermore, there are two proposals;

1). Proposal – A
Enhancement of 100% Utility Allowance, in which case the financial implication for the remaining half of CFY is estimated at Rs. 173.28 million.
2). Proposal – B
80% increase in the Utility Allowance, in which case the financial implication for the remaining half of CFY is calculated at Rs. 138.624 million.
