Winter Vacation in Islamabad 2023 has been extended via the official notification issued on 29th December 2022 by the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority Islamabad. The step of extension in winter vacation has been taken due to increasing the Fogy condition and extreme cold weather in Islamabad. Latest News About Winter Vacation: As we already know that the Government has already taken the initiative of winter vacation extension but due to extreme cold weather, Government is thinking to extend one week more which may be 9th January 2023 to 14th January 2023. In the said case, the schools, colleges and universities may be opened on 16th January 2023.
Extension in Weather Vacation in Islamabad Notification 2023
In continuation of earlier instructions regarding winter break (December 26-31, 2022) vide letter of even number dated: 26-12-2022, the winter vacation is extended upto January 07, 2023 in the wake of extreme cold weather in Islamabad.

Accordingly, all the Private Educational Institutions (PEIS) in Islamabad shall observe “Winter Break” upto January 07, 2023.
