After the official announcement by the State Bank of Pakistan, all the banks available in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, AJK and Islamabad will be remained close on the start of new year, Monday, 1st January 2024. The bank closure notification will be issued very soon.
All the persons who are directly or indirectly relevant with the banks or those who have a plan to visit the bank then they need to change the schedule because of long weekend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with the following index;

The holidays for the closure of banks are already have been confirmed through the official notification of Public and Optional Holidays in Pakistan 2024. The circular of Bank holidays will be issued today.
All the banks in Pakistan are bound to follow the instructions given by the State Bank of Pakistan. All the employees of Banks will be remained at their offices but public dealing, like transactions etc. will be closed for customers.
