All BISEs boards of Punjab has postponed the Matric Result 2020 on 14th September and Inter Result on 17th September. Now the results are expected to be announced from 30th September 30 to 7th October 2020.
Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman will finalize the decision after the approval from the Chief Minister. Matric and Inter Result 2020 are delayed due to the non-availability of Practical Marks. Punjab boards Committee of Chairmen sought approval from the Punjab Higher Education Commission regarding the formula of Practical Marks.
The commission has not replied to the said issue till September 12, due to which the practical marks of the students cannot be calculated. Hence, in the absence of practical marks, it has become almost impossible to announce the result on September 14.
Practical marks shall be calculated after approval of the Punjab Higher Education Commission, and data shall be fed into the computer. Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen shall finalize the date of announcement of Matric and Inter result 2020 after the approval of the Chief Minister.
Hence results can be announced on any date. Chief Minister has called on a cabinet meeting on Monday, September 14. The date of the results announcement is also included in the agenda of the cabinet meeting, and if approved, the results will be announced next week.
