The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announces the new admission 2024 Matric, Intermediate, BS, MSc, MPhil, MS and PhD for the semester of Spring or Autumn. The deadline For Matric, FA and I.Com, PSG Programs is 20th February 2024 and BS, MBA, MPhil/MS and PhD Programmes last date is 15th February 2024. The last date for admission in BS Programs for international students can join online before 25th May 2024.

The admission in PhD, MPhil/MS/MSc(Hons), MSc and BS Programmes shall be on merit basis as per detail available in online prospectus. The schedule of entry test for PhD & MPhil/MS/MSc (Hons) programmes are given below. The schedule for the entry test/interview of PhD, M.Phil/MS programmes will be scheduled on 20 February to 23rd February 2024. The venue for entry test is decided at Academic Complex AIOU H-8, Islamabad with timing 09:00 to onwards.

- After filling the admission form, print out your “Challan Form”.

Note: Maximum time duration includes semester freeze period.
The minimum duration of Matric (General/Durse-e-Nizami) from the Spring Semester 2022 will be 2 years (4 semesters) and maximum duration is 5 years (10 semesters). If any students cannot complete the academic program within maximum duration then he/she would get re-admission in that specific program.
Assessment of PGD Programs Revised Policy 2024
As per revised formula securing passing marks in assignment/practical and other components is not compulsory w.e.f. Autumn. 2021 onwards, however. passing marks i.e. 50% in final exams will be mandatory. If a student gets 50 marks out of 100 in the final CUM and does not score 50% aggregate marks, he/she will be declared Fail in the respective course and he/she will have to re-register/re-admit in the respective course, whenever the said course Is) arc offered in any of the subsequent semester (s).

There is no change in formula for Teach ng Practice 1 & 2. Research Projects. Long Term Internship and such courses where grading formula/scheme of studies is different and workshops/projects are having weightage of marks, students will have clear/pass them too.
AIOU Admission Process 2024 How To Apply
As you know that the Allama Iqbal Open University has introduced Digitalization Process for the facilitation of AIOU students. After the successful results of Digitalization, the students can easily perform the educational activities. Now, the students can easily submit their AIOU fees though Bank Branches, Jazz Cashes and EasyPaisa.
The AIOU CMS Accounts are already made for all the students. The information regarding CMS has been forwarded to all the students via SMS. The course registration procedure is given below;
- Visit https:/enrollment.aiou.edu.pk/, and enter USER ID and Password.
- Click on Course Registration
- After the opening of Student enrollment, click on the option of Academic Level and choose your semester number.
- Click the option of Add New Request
- After selection of your courses, click on Add Course then click on submit button.
- After opening of new window, necessary to click on Print Invoice.

The Prospectuses of all the programmes are available at University Website. The Fresh/Continuing Students are required to enroll ONLINE; https://online.aiou.edu.pk latest by 20th February 2024. The aiou fee should be deposited in any branch of ABL, MCB, FWBL and UBL. It can also be deposited through UPaisa, Easypaisa and JazzCash. The fee can be deposited on same day after generating Challan.
